The Canadian premiere of The F Word took place at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, March 8th-11th 2012. It originally premiered at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Produced by 360 Productions, a company direct from Singapore headed by director Loretta Chen and playwright Jennifer Phillips, it was a fundraising event for women who've been abused in honor of International Women's Day.

The show is a series of vignettes, all with one-word titles beginning in 'F', which speak to the issues of women. It is intended to educate and inspire, and hopes to become a movement, with new stories being added every year.

Nicole appeared as Lauren in Fallen, a ten minute monologue about one woman's struggle to overcome the shock of her partner's suicide, an exploration of depression. She is haunted by the dripping faucet he never fixed, which we later discover is really the sound of his blood, as she relives the experience of finding his body over and over.

She also appeared in this year's new addition to the show, a scene called Fancy about the growing child sex trafficking industry (Canada has one of the highest rates in the world)

People of Toronto, You CANNOT miss this show!

... Just walked through the door, home from the Premiere of 360 Productions’, The F-WORD. I must tell you that I am still vibrating ....I swear my heart went in A-Fib at points in this show. One minute, I'm roaring with laughter wondering if I should run to the toilet and the next, I'm paralyzed with large teardrops rolling down the sides of my cheeks. People of Toronto, you must Take Action and step out of your comfort zone to see The F-WORD.

This is an experience that will leave you 'feeling', feeling emotions that you know are there, those feelings that we all suppress, ignore and pretend we can control.
This show is a cast of 20 some odd women that have put their hearts and souls into this production, and if you think you are strong enough for a rollercoaster ride of your life, then get to Buddies Theatre this week, by Sunday's Matinee at 2 PM.

YOU will not regret it .... or, maybe you will? The awakening in your soul of some of the realities of our lives may just be too much for you to take.

In closing, this show really is only for the BRAVE of HEART, that have the ability to appreciate reality, know how to laugh at themselves, and are willing to Take Action in either case.
